Tickets are now available for 50 events at the end of October as part of Norwich Book Festival 2025

From talks by best-selling authors to poetry workshops and learning how to create a book jacket – even a two-day mini family-friendly festival as we transform The Forum’s Atrium into The Imaginarium and pack it full of free activities – there’s sure to be something to suit all readers.

This ‘celebration of stories’, which will take place across a range of venues, presented by The Forum is only possible due to the work and support of a range of partners, supporters and sponsors, along with four Norfolk-based festival patrons, who we are delighted to introduce:

Carnegie Medal nominee Dr Ashley Hickson-Lovence, children’s authors and illustrators Kate Read and Matt Robertson and Royal Society Literature Fellow Dr Sarah Perry.

Chris Gribble, CEO at The Forum said:

“Norwich Book Festival is a chance for everyone who loves stories to come together, explore the worlds that books open for us and make new friends – real and imaginary – in Norwich, UNESCO City of Literature.

We'd like to thank our new patrons as well as National Centre for Writing, UEA, Norfolk Library and Information Service and all our venue and bookshop partners for helping us make this happen.

Most of all we're looking forward to welcoming readers, book lovers and writers of all sorts to our events across the city: from free family fun in our Imaginarium, to launches of internationally best-selling writers, Norwich Book Festival 2025 is when the City of Stories comes alive.”
