Join pioneering advocate Danny Sriskandarajah for a passionate discussion around his latest novel, Power to the People. He will be delving into his experiences from a lifetime of campaigning and sharing the blueprint for his radical manifesto for community-driven change.  

Addressing voter apathy and the limitations of current political systems, Danny will explore how citizen engagement can transform our world using inspiring real-life success stories - ranging from grassroots initiatives to global campaigns.  

This empowering event is for anyone who wants to use their voice to change the world, to learn how to campaign for a better future, and hear from a leader in the field. Danny, former Chief Executive of Oxfam GB, and current Chief Executive of The New Economics Foundation will share his expertise, insight, and experience.

Danny Sriskandarajah 

Danny Sriskandarajah learned the value of citizenship at a young age as the child of Tamil migrants who moved from Sri Lanka to Australia. Arriving in the UK as the first Rhodes scholar from an Asian immigrant background, he has gone on to run a series of civil society organisations, and has become a leading voice in the third sector.
